I just recieved this locomotive today, it is my first Gutzold loco. It ran very well straight from the box and pulled 34 freight cars, of which many of the open wagons are loaded with bits of metal and real coal. Slow running was good and she was steady at speed. She compares well with other makes in the price class.
I think the finish on the model is good and it is a nice touch with the Soviet manufacturers plate on the side.
I will certainly consider other Gutzold locomotives after this.
