Refined model with new wheels, pantographs, etched parts and LED lights to match the new models of the Re 4/4 II in the long version. The six-axle driven electric locomotives Re 6/6 of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) were procured to replace the Ae 6/6 that was operating for the most part in heavy duty traffic on the lines of the Gotthard. As an alternative to the double traction power of two Re 4/4 - these machines pulled also heavy passenger trains over the Gotthards mountain. They are also used national wide in the freight traffic.
